Many thanks to our generous parent who kitted Dennis out in new gear and also treated us to some lovely masks recently…
Friendship and its importance to our well-being has been our focus for the past and coming weeks. Using our Character Strengths helps us to be a good friend. Being true to ourselves, honest, brave, helpful, reliable, kind, different, forgiving .. You can see from our lovely pin-board exhibits what the Keys to Well-being are, how we can Bee Ourselves and how even though We can’t control the waves, we can learn to surf!
At the beginning of the school year RNS Parents’ Association arranges insurance cover (Brennan Education Personal Accident Scheme) for pupils whose parents/carers wish to avail of it.
The cost this year is €10.10 per pupil (scheme 1, 24 hour cover, optional*).
In order to collect forms and monies in a safe and efficient way members of the PA will take payment from parents over two school drop-offs and one school pick-up in the coming days;
Wednesday 7th October from 08.30 to 09.15 and
Friday 9th October from 08.30 to 09.15 and afternoon from 13.00 to 14.45.
The payment table will be set up at the roundabout at the school (past the main school gates). Consent forms must be filled and signed by every parent/carer availing of the scheme for their child/children. We will have forms at the payment table but please bring your own pen and have exact change (in CASH) only. In order to save time, parents can print the attached form, fill in the details, sign it, and drop it with the payment in the box we will have set up on the day.
Thanks and regards,
Lucy Deering and Claire Mansfield
on behalf of the Parents’ Association, Rolestown National School
